Cost of Programs:
Many of our educational programs are free or low cost. Donations are always appreciated and will be used to fund even more educational programs. Please contact Educator Jill Malusky to schedule a program for your group!
GRANTS FOR TRANSPORTATION, NEW FOR 2011-12!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Albert W. and Edith V. Flowers Charitable Foundation the Museum will be able to offer fund transportation for some field trips during the 2011-2012 school year. Please follow this link for more information on how to apply for funding.
Suggestions:
We are open to suggestions for classes and workshops, and are always eager to meet new teachers. Please contact Educator Jill Malusky with any suggestions or questions you may have.
Volunteer & Intern Opportunities:
Volunteers and interns are always needed in the Education Department. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, make new friends, and learn new skills. Students needing to fulfill service or internship hours can earn credit for their work. Whether you’re an artist who wants to share their skills through teaching, an outgoing individual who likes to learn and share with others to help lead tours, or a reserved person who enjoys organizing and preparing resources in our classrooms, we can find a place for your talents! Please contact Educator Jill Malusky to learn more.
