Stark County Artists Exhibition
December 13, 2008 - February 8, 2009

The Massillon Museum will celebrate the opening of the annual Stark County Artists Exhibition on Saturday, December 13, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a reception for the artists in the main gallery. Award winners will be announced at 8:00 that evening.

Present and former Stark County residents and those currently working in Stark County were eligible to enter artwork for the Massillon Museum's juried Stark County Artists Exhibition. All media were considered by the independent jurors—Jim Bowling, Assistant Professor at Otterbein College, and Griffith Mann, Chief Curator at the Cleveland Museum of Art. They selected work to be included in the show as well as the awards, which will be announced during the evening.

The exhibition will continue through February 8, 2009.

The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday: 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
