This exhibition will highlight printmaking—specifically women printmakers who are associated with one of four independent cooperatives in the state of Ohio. A wide range of styles and techniques will be shown from the Dayton Printmakers Cooperative (Dayton); Phoenix Rising (Columbus); Tiger Lily Press (Cincinnati); and Zygote Press (Cleveland). The cooperatives were chosen because of their independent structure and non-affiliation with a local college or university. The artists were chosen to represent the wide range of work being produced despite the shared environment.
