Lens on Nature: Photographing Stark Parks
The Massillon Museum invites photographers of all ages and all levels to submit their photographs to the new Lens on Nature: Photographing Stark Parks exhibition in the Fred F. Silk Community Room Gallery! This exhibition will be on display from July 26 through October 12, 2025, in Massillon Museum’s Fred F. Silk Community Room Gallery. Entries are free, and submissions are open to all including student, amateur, and professional photographers who capture nature during any season in Stark Parks. Submissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two per person, and up to a total of thirty submissions for the whole exhibition. Matted photographs are accepted at the Museum between June 27 and July 6, 2025.

Studio M
Artists who are Massillon Museum members may apply to exhibit their artwork in the Studio M Gallery, located on the second floor of the Museum. Those selected will receive a public reception and guest feature on the Museum’s podcast, MassMusings. Applications are reviewed and shows are scheduled two years prior to the exhibition date.
Professional applications will be accepted during the spring and summer of 2025 for exhibitions during the 2027/2028 exhibition season. Check back for updates!

Studio M Student Exhibitions
Massillon Museum invites students or recent graduates pursuing a BA/BFA or MFA in studio art at a Northeastern Ohio university to apply for two Studio M show slots for the following year. Northeast Ohio-based remote students attending schools located outside Northeast Ohio will also be considered. Student shows are installed for three weeks each. The initiative connects Museum visitors to artwork by emerging artists in the region.
The call for applications is currently closed. The application period begins during the spring and summer for two exhibitions during the winter of the following calendar year. Check back for updates!
