Enjoy art activities with Museum staff and giveaways from PBS Western Reserve from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. A screening of the PBS NOVA episode “Star Chasers of Senegal” will begin at 3:00 p.m. in Gessner Hall. Registered guests will receive a free pair of eclipse glasses (one per person until supply runs out).
This program is happening in conjunction with the 2024 NEA Big Read. For seventeen consecutive years, the Massillon Museum has been honored to be awarded the NEA Big Read grant. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
