Intergenerational Arts Program

The Massillon Museum is thrilled to host the Intergenerational Arts Program in partnership with Artful Living and Learning, Massillon City Schools, and Danbury Senior Living of Massillon. The program began in 2023, thanks to an Arts Partnership grant from the Ohio Arts Council. 

Massillon preschool students and their parents or guardians are invited to interact with senior residents from Danbury while participating in an intergenerational lesson led by an Artful Living and Learning Teaching Artist. The group meets monthly, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., October through April. The program is free to attend, and snacks are provided.

Preschool-aged children enrolled at Massillon Public Preschool are eligible to attend. For more information about enrolling and eligibility, please contact Caylan Rentsch at MassMu or DaNita Berry at Massillon City Schools.
