Studio M
Artists who are Massillon Museum members may apply for an exhibition in Studio M, located on the second floor of the Museum. Those selected will receive a public reception and guest feature on the Museum’s podcast, MassMusings. Applications are reviewed each summer, and shows are scheduled two years prior to the exhibition date. During each open call, proposals will be accepted through Massillon Museum's Submittable site.
For more information, contact Studio M Coordinator Emily Vigil at evigil@massillonmuseum.org.
Davon Brantley: Awaken in the Garden My Love was displayed in Studio M in 2023.

Studio M Student Exhibitions
Each year, Massillon Museum invites students or recent graduates pursuing a BA/BFA or MFA in studio art at a university in Ohio to apply for two Studio M show slots for the following year. Ohio-based remote students attending schools located out of state will also be considered. Student shows are installed for three weeks each. The initiative connects Museum visitors to artwork by emerging artists in the region.
Student and recent graduate exhibition proposals will be accepted during the summer of 2026 for the first two exhibitions in 2027. During each open call, proposals will be accepted through Massillon Museum's Submittable site.
